Don’t risk suffering from the Pell Cup blues! You will if you miss the
2008 version of this popular court tennis tournament in the
City-By-The-Sea, Newport, Rhode Island.
A more detailed announcement will be issued shortly, and a
registration form circulated. Please note that the dates of the tournament
are different from those published in the USCTA Calendar.
The on-court doubles competition will be fierce as always, in five
divisions, The Open Division always attracts the world’s best
professional and amateur players, and each division below lives up to
that standard within its handicap range.
The off-court festivities include a sumptuous Friday evening cocktail
party in the historic cathedral of tennis, the venerable Newport
Casino, and a Saturday evening dinner cruise out of Newport harbor to
beautiful Narragansett Bay.
