Camden Riviere travelled to Bordeaux to play in the 2008 French Open. In the singles semi, Riviere beat Nick Wood in a 5-set “nail biter”. Down two sets and two match points, Riviere fought back to win a spot in the finals – 5/6,4/6,6/5,6/2,6/3. In the final, World Champion Rob Fahey, was too strong and fought off Riviere for a 6/3,6/0,6/2 victory.
